The Central Bank has included Tinkoff Bank in the list of systemically important credit institutions. The relevant decision was made taking into account a number of factors, including active business growth significantly exceeding the average market, as well as an extensive customer base, the regulator said in a statement.

The list includes 13 banks, which account for about 77% of the total assets of the Russian banking sector. Currently, in addition to Tinkoff Bank, the list includes: UniCredit Bank, GPB, Sovcombank, VTB, Alfa-Bank, Sberbank, Credit Bank of Moscow, FC Otkritie Bank, Rosbank, Promsvyazbank, Raiffeisenbank, Rosselkhoznadzor.
