The volume of industrial production in the Russian Federation increased by 5.6% in the first quarter of 2024. In March, industrial production increased by 4% year-on-year. This was reported by Rosstat.
Mining increased by 1.1% in the first quarter and by 0.4% in March.
Manufacturing production increased by 8.8% in January-March and by 6% in March.
In the sectors of electricity, gas and steam supply, the indicator increased by 5% (+4.1%).
