Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin distributed the supervision of the federal districts among the Deputy prime ministers. This is stated in the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

So, Victoria Abramchenko will be responsible for the Siberian Federal District, Yuri Borisov - for the Ural Federal District, Tatyana Golikova - for the North-Western Federal District. Dmitry Grigorenko will oversee the Central Federal District, Alexander Novak-the North Caucasus Federal District, Yuri Trutnev-the Far Eastern Federal District, Marat Khusnullin - the Southern Federal District, Dmitry Chernyshenko - the Volga Federal District.

The Deputy Prime Ministers in the new status will be responsible for the investment attractiveness of the districts, improving the effectiveness of budget expenditures, and comprehensive socio-economic development of the territories.

Among the issues supervised by the deputy prime ministers will also be the development and implementation of investment, national projects and state programs in the assigned territory, issues of state regulation in the field of providing financial assistance to the regions.
