Zarubezhneft and RUSNANO have signed a memorandum of understanding, which provides for the development and implementation of products and technologies of portfolio companies to improve the efficiency of operation of the mechanized well fund of the oil-producing holding. This is stated in the message of the parties.

Within the framework of cooperation, the technologies and products of the RUSNANO investment company will be considered as participants in tender procedures for the lease and maintenance of electric submersible equipment, in the supply and maintenance of geothermal pumping systems for the rational use of energy resources in the fields, as well as in ensuring the comprehensive safety of industrial facilities, construction sites and remote fields.

In particular, we are talking about the products and technologies of the portfolio companies "Novomet", "ELVIS-NeoTek", as well as other assets of RUSNANO.

Earlier, RUSNANO announced the adjustment of the strategy and stopping the exit from a number of critical assets for the country. This allowed the management team to concentrate on their development in order to ensure technological sovereignty and form a technological reserve for the Russian industry. The interest in the production of these assets on the part of one of the leading oil and gas companies confirmed the correctness and foresight of the decisions taken.

Zarubezhneft unites more than 20 joint ventures and subsidiaries in various segments of the oil and gas business. The company's activities cover the entire range of work in the oil and gas field – from exploration and development of fields to the construction of pipeline systems and the supply of equipment to oil facilities.

JSC "RUSNANO" (TIN 7728131587) was established in March 2011 through the reorganization of the state corporation "Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies". RUSNANO contributes to the implementation of the state policy on the development of the nanoindustry, acting as a co-investor in nanotechnology projects with significant economic or social potential.
