Financing of the state program for the integrated development of rural areas from 2020 to 2024 amounted to about 255 billion rubles. Also, 17 billion rubles were raised from extra-budgetary sources. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
The activities of this program will affect 11.5 thousand settlements and 14 million people by the end of the year. This is about 40% of those living in rural areas. So, almost 9 million square meters have already been commissioned. By the end of the year, this figure will grow.
In general, taking into account the current year, almost 4.5 thousand infrastructure facilities, as well as public utilities, will be built or modernized. In addition, about 2 thousand km of roads will be built or brought into a standard condition, 13 thousand public space improvement projects will be implemented.
