Agroeco increased pork production for slaughter by 10% in the first half of 2026. The figures reached 184 thousand tons. For the same period in 2025, this value was 177 thousand tons, the company said in a statement.
The growth is primarily due to the phased planned commissioning of new production facilities. In the second half of 2025, Agroeco launched two full-cycle sites in the Tula region. The company intends to continue the construction of new pig farms to ensure the full utilization of the Pavlovsky meat processing plant, which the agroholding commissioned in 2024.
Agroeco Group of Companies is an agroindustrial holding company. The holding includes 51 pig breeding sites, a breeding and genetic center, 4 feed mills, a crop cluster, trucking companies, a dairy farm, a meat processing plant, and a chain of branded stores. The total number of employees is more than 10 thousand people.
Recall, according to Agroexport, in January-May 2026 (excluding EAEU data for May), Russia supplied more than 113 thousand live pigs worth almost $20 million to foreign markets.
