Belarus and Venezuela plan to expand the spheres of trade and economic cooperation. This was discussed at an online meeting between Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Denis Meleshkin and Vice-President of the Bank for Foreign Trade of Venezuela Juan Freer, BelTA reports with reference to the BelCCI website.

"The parties considered the prospects for the development of business contacts, the expansion of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Venezuela, as well as the possibility of organizing online events for business in the fourth quarter of 2021 through chambers of commerce and industry and banking structures, during which the trade, economic and investment potential of Belarus and Venezuela, business opportunities will be presented," the message reads.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to Belarus Franklin Ramirez Araque and Charge d'affaires of Belarus to Venezuela Denis Logunov.
