The trade surplus of the Russian Federation in January 2023 amounted to $10.73 billion, having decreased by 2 times compared to January 2022. This is evidenced by the data of the Federal Customs Service.
Foreign trade turnover decreased by 20.3% to $55.14 billion. The volume of exports decreased by 28.2% to $32.94 billion, imports - by 4.7% to $22.2 billion.
Earlier, the Federal Customs Service announced that it was partially resuming publication of customs statistics on foreign trade. The agency has already published the cost volumes of exports and imports of the Russian Federation for 2022.
