The Cabinet of Ministers has expanded the program of subsidizing hiring. Now employers will be able to receive a subsidy for the employment of unemployed people registered with employment services until August 1, 2021. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

In accordance with the resolution, the category of citizens for whose employment an employer can receive a subsidy has also been increased, regardless of the date of their registration in employment centers. Now this category includes not only college and university graduates who completed their studies in 2020, but also disabled people, parents with many children, single parents with disabled children.

The subsidy is equal to three minimum wages, increased by the district coefficient, the amount of insurance premiums and the number of employed citizens. The employer receives the first payment a month after the unemployed person is employed, the second – after three months, the third-after six months.

The employment subsidy program was launched in March 2021 and will be in effect until the end of the year. As part of this employment support measure, employers receive subsidies for the employment of the unemployed.
