The production of machinery and equipment increased at the highest rate. In general, we can talk about the output of machine-building production to pre-crisis levels and stabilization of the situation. Due to the exhaustion of the low base effect, the reason for the growth should be considered the deferred demand and the resulting shortage of a number of machine-building products. Nevertheless, already in August, the seasonally adjusted PMI index of Russian manufacturing industries, which tracks the general market situation, fell to 46.5 points, falling below the critical mark of 50 points for the third month in a row. This decline in the business environment in the Russian manufacturing industries was the highest since November 2020.
