Passenger traffic of the Aeroflot Group in January-February 2023 decreased by 2.3% to 6.15 million from 6.3 million a year earlier. Passenger seat occupancy increased by 11.1 percentage points to 86.3% from 75.2%. Aeroflot's passenger traffic increased by 5.4% to 3.08 million from 2.93 million, seat occupancy – by 16.8 percentage points to 84.7% from 67.9%. This is stated in the company's message.
The total volume of Aeroflot Group's traffic by the end of February 2023 amounted to 3 million passengers, an increase of 6.3% compared to the same period in 2022, including 2.3 million passengers transported on domestic lines (+12.1%). Passenger seat occupancy increased by 12.4 percentage points to 87.4%.
Aeroflot is a Russian airline. The group of the same name also includes Rossiya and Pobeda airlines. The total share in the Russian market in 2021 was 39.1%. In 2022, Aeroflot transported 20.5 million people, and taking into account the airlines of the Aeroflot group — 40.7 million. By 2030, the group intends to acquire 339 aircraft of domestic production.
