New rules for connecting to gas distribution networks will take effect in Russia, taking into account the peculiarities of social gasification. This was reported by the Government of the Russian Federation.

The adopted rules state that pre-gasification is possible only in those localities where there is already a gas distribution infrastructure. It will be available to applicants who use gas for personal, family and household needs. The program does not apply to those who plan to use gas for commercial purposes.

According to the document, the timing of summing up depends on the remoteness of households from the gas distribution infrastructure. In some cases, the terms will be determined on an individual basis.

To connect, you need to send an application to the gasification operator – this can be done, for example, through the public services portal, in the MFC or in the applicant's personal account on the website of the gas distribution organization. A set of documents is attached to the application: a situational plan indicating the location of the household, a topographic map, a certificate of ownership, in some cases – a calculation of the hourly gas consumption and a copy of the documentation on the layout of the territory.

At the same time, the norms related to social gasification are included in the rules for the development and implementation of interregional and regional gasification programs, as well as in the basics of gas pricing.

Recall that it is expected that by 2030 the level of gasification of Russian regions will grow by more than 10% and reach 82.9%, and citizens will be able to connect to the networks faster. In total, within the framework of the social gasification program, it is planned to connect more than 3 million households for free.
