Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree "On the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036." This was announced by the Kremlin.

It was instructed to set a number of targets and tasks, the fulfillment of which characterizes the achievement of the national goal "Environmental well-being".

Among them is the formation of a closed-cycle economy, which by 2030 will ensure the sorting of 100% of the volume of solid municipal waste generated annually, the burial of no more than 50% of such waste and the involvement in economic turnover of at least 25% of production and consumption waste as secondary resources and raw materials.

We are also talking about a phased reduction by 2 times by 2036 of emissions of dangerous pollutants that have the greatest negative impact on the environment and human health in cities with high and very high levels of atmospheric air pollution.
