In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, restoration of a building in the historical part of the city at 13 Krasintsev Street, which is an object of cultural heritage, has begun. According to the master plan for the development of the capital of Kamchatka, the building will become the central object of the new creative cluster "IKRA". The concept of the Kamchatka creative cluster was presented in 2023 at the Eastern Economic Forum.

Hasan Hasanbalaev, Executive Director of the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (KRDV) for Social Development, notes that the long-term comprehensive plan for the socio-economic development of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky was developed and approved first among other master plans of the cities of the Far Eastern Federal District. It is based on the city's economic growth strategy, the creation of new jobs in modern industries, and the creation of social infrastructure.

"It is significant that the plan from the very beginning included a project to create a creative cluster "IKRA". This indicates the attention that development institutions pay to supporting the creative economy of the Far Eastern Federal District regions. Let me remind you that new creative centers are being created in Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok and Ulan-Ude. The creative cluster "Labor Quarter" was built in Yakutia with the funds of the Unified Presidential Subsidy of the Ministry of Regional Development of Russia, it is open and successfully operating. "CAVIAR" is an abbreviation for: "incubator, coworking, residence, art gallery." Thus, a comprehensive creative environment and a new specialized urban space will be created within the framework of the Kamchatka cluster. The start of work at the facility is an important practical step towards the implementation of one of the key projects in the master plan of the city," Hasan Hasanbalayev said.

The Ministry of Culture of the Kamchatka Territory reported that house No. 13 on Krasintsev St. is a characteristic example of the development of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky streets of the early twentieth century. It is an object of cultural heritage of regional significance. Currently, the internal and external cladding of the building has been dismantled at the facility, and the timber inside the building is being cleared.

"The restoration work will take place with special attention to the preserved original parts of the building. Our task is to remove the later layers, return the house to its original appearance, including the original color solutions, recreate the lost and restore the preserved finishing elements. At the facility, work will be carried out to strengthen the bearing parts, to waterproofing structures, and the foundation will be restored. Builders will strengthen the rafter system and install a new roof. The internal spatial structure will meet modern standards, and the area around it will be landscaped," the Ministry of Culture of the Kamchatka Territory said.

In addition to the creative cluster, the key projects of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky master plan include the integrated development of the Petropavlovsk Harbor territory, the improvement of the park on Mishennaya Sopka and the construction of a cable car here, the improvement of Halaktyrsky Beach, the construction of a Planetarium on Nikolskaya Sopka, the creation of the Kultuchnoye Lake natural park, the improvement of the Seroglazka embankment.
