Vladimir Putin signed a law on the creation of a National dictionary Fund

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed amendments to the law "On the State Language of the Russian Federation". This is reported on the Kremlin's website.

It is established that the National Dictionary Fund is a federal state information system that is created in order to provide access to information about the norms of the modern Russian literary language using the Internet free of charge.

The National Dictionary Fund will consist of dictionary entries, which are the main structural units of normative dictionaries, as well as dictionaries containing information on the development of the norms of the Russian literary language.

The Government of the Russian Federation must approve the regulations on the National Dictionary Fund, which defines, among other things, the powers of the fund operator, which is the Ministry of Education and Science, the procedure and sources of formation, as well as the procedure for maintaining and structure of the fund.
