Non-oil and gas revenues to the federal budget increased by 43% in the first quarter. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting on economic issues, according to a transcript posted on the Kremlin's website.

In general, federal budget revenues for three months, according to the head of state, increased by more than 1.5 times compared to last year.

"This means that we have other indicators, including the [budget] deficit, which is getting smaller. And in this regard, we can confidently say that a solid base is being formed for the growth of budget revenues over the entire six-year horizon," Vladimir Putin stressed.
