Inflation by the end of 2024, in accordance with the baseline forecast, will slow down to 5.1% after 7.4% at the end of 2023. This is reported in the published Ministry of Economic Development in the scenario conditions of the functioning of the economy.

According to the conservative scenario, certain pro-inflationary risks are expected to be realized. As a result, inflation in 2024 and 2025 will be higher than in the basic version, and will amount to 6% and 4.4%.

This will have an impact on a longer period of maintaining tight monetary conditions and, consequently, lower investment and consumer activity.
