On behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a bill has been prepared on the extension of the free economic zone regime in the Belgorod Region, which will include the city of Shebekino. Over 2 billion rubles will be sent to the subject. This was announced by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The funds have been allocated from the Government's reserve fund.
Thus, 800 million rubles will be allocated to provide support measures to residents who were forced to leave their permanent place of residence. We are talking about one-time financial assistance, as well as financial assistance in connection with the partial or complete loss of essential property.
Another 987 million rubles will be spent on the reconstruction and modernization of industrial facilities; 264 million rubles will be spent on payments to employees of SMEs in the consumer market and sole proprietors.
In total, more than 6 billion rubles will be allocated to the region for these purposes in 2024.
