Vagit Alekperov, President of PJSC LUKOIL, and Igor Babushkin, the Governor of Astrakhan region, have signed an additional agreement for cooperation between the company and the region for 2020, the press service of LUKOIL informed.
Under the agreement, LUKOIL will finance the restoration of monuments and obelisks in Limansky district in the run-up to celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as several repair and improvement projects in Astrakhan. The company will also acquire a laboratory for the Oil and Gas Institute of Astrakhan State Technical University.
PJSC LUKOIL (tax number: 7708004767) is Russia's second largest oil producer. The company's authorized capital is RUB 21,264,081.375, with 850,563,255 common outstanding shares at par value of RUB 0.025 issued. The largest block of the company's shares is owned by its management.
IFRS net profit attributable to LUKOIL shareholders for 9 months of 2019 increased by 13.2% to RUB 520.9 billion from RUB 460.1 billion a year earlier. Revenue from sales decreased by 1.1% year-on-year to RUB 5.929 trillion from RUB 5.993 trillion, EBITDA increased by 14.5% to RUB 958 billion from RUB 836.5 billion.
