PJSC Rostelecom and JSC Tyumenenergo have signed a cooperation agreement, aimed at increasing efficiency in the power industry through automation and the use of Industrial Internet technologies. The agreement was signed at the XI International IT-Forum with BRICS and SCO Participation in Khanty-Mansiysk, the parties informed.
PJSC Rostelecom (tax number: 7707049388) is the national long-distance communication operator leading in the amount of long-distance domestic and international data traffic and operating the land-line network of television and broadcasting channels. In April 2011, Rostelecom absorbed interregional communication companies Centertelecom, Sibirtelecom, Dalsvyaz, Uralsvyazinform, VolgaTelecom, SZT, YTK and Dagsvyazinform. Total length of Rostelecom's backbone network all over Russia is about 500,000 km. The company's infrastructure reaches 43 million Russian households.
The company's authorized capital is RUB 6.961 billion. It consists of 2,784,480,101 shares including 2,574,914,954 common shares and 209,565,147 type A preferred shares. IFRS net profit of PJSC Rostelecom for Q1 2019 increased by 46% to RUB 5.631 billion from RUB 3.864 billion a year earlier. Revenue increased by 3% to RUB 78.667 billion from RUB 76.203 billion, OIBDA by 12% to RUB 26.381 billion from RUB 23.551 billion, operating income grew by 16% to RUB 9.709 billion from RUB 8.357 billion.
JSC Tyumenenergo (tax number: 8602060185) is the largest power supply system of the Ural region ranking the second largest power supply system in the Russian Federation, officially recognized as an inter-regional distribution company. Tyumenenergo's centralized electric power supply covers an area of over 1.4 million sq. km. The company has 9 branches.
