SBI Group (Japan) keeping SBI Bank (former Yar-bank) in Russia and intending to acquire stocks of Sovkombank is going to invest $15mln into SimpleFinance microcredit company, Vedomosti informed referring to Redstone Capital's representative as of major holder of the Company.
These funds will be spent on the acquisition of an additional issue to be released by SF Holdings Company as MKK's parent. Then, the Fund can acquire 25% in SF Holdings Company.
The aggregated investments of the Fund are equal to $50mlln.
For the first time SBI invested in SimpleFinance last year. According to Cyprus register SBI FinTech Business Innovation has 7.2% in SF Holdings Company.
The shares of the holders are undisclosed, but Redstone Capital is noted as a major holder. The founders involve two private persons.
The IH portfolio of SimpleFinance gained 1.85bn rub. It is rated at the first position by the portfolio volume among the companies providing credits for small and medium business. It is assumed to exceed 4bn rub. year end.
