Ryazan Oil Refining Company, a subsidiary Rosneft Oil Company, has produced the first batch of high-octane AI-100 automobile gasoline, Rosneft informed.
The launch of the new product resulted from the successful implementation of Rosneft's production modernization program aimed, among other things, at increasing the consumer performance of motor fuels. AI-100 is intended for highly-forced engines. In addition to higher performance characteristics, AI-100 automobile gasolines feature higher environmental friendliness.
Rosneft Oil Company (tax number: 7706107510) is the largest oil company and largest tax payer in the Russian Federation. Rosneft's proved SEC compliant reserves exceed 37.7 billion boe. The company's authorized capital is RUB 105.981 million. It consists of 10,598,177,810 common shares with a face value of RUB 0.01. The company's largest shareholders include state-owned company Rosneftegaz (50%+1 share), BP Russian Investments Limited (19.75%), QHG Oil Ventures Pte. Ltd. (Joint venture Glencore and QIA, 19.5%).
IFRS net profit of Rosneft for nine months of 2017 was $2 billion, matching the previous year's result. Sales revenue and income from associates and joint ventures increased by 43.7% to $76.3 billion from $53.1 billion, EBITDA grew by 28.1% to $17.3 billion.
