IFRS net profit of Mosenergo for 2017 grew by 84.57% to RUB 24.802 billion from RUB 13.438 billion the year before, the company reported.
Revenue increased by 2.83% to RUB 196.056 billion from RUB 190.656 billion, profit from operations by 86.81% to RUB 29.21 billion from RUB 15.636 billion, pre-tax profit by 47.25% to RUB 30.112 billion from RUB 20.449 billion. EBITDA grew by 44.4% to RUB 44.327 billion from RUB 30.703 billion.
The company's revenue mainly increased due to effective operation of the combined cycle power units commissioned under capacity supply agreements.
Mosenergo (tax number: 7705035012) is an electric power generating company of Russia using organic fuel. It annually consumes over 20 bcm of gas. Mosenergo operates power stations with the installed electric power of 13 thousand MW and the installed thermal power of 43 thousand Gcal/h. The company's power stations deliver 60% of electric energy consumed in Moscow region and cover more than 80% of Moscow's demand for thermal energy.
The company's authorized capital is RUB 39.749 billion. It consists of 39,749,359,700 common shares with a face value of 1 ruble each. Gazprom energoholding LLC owns 53.5%, the government of Moscow 26.45%, JSC Inter RAO Capital 4.99% of the company's authorized capital.
In 2017, the power facilities of Mosenergo produced 57.86 billion kWh of electricity, which is 2% below the result achieved in 2016.
IFRS net profit of Mosenergo, its subsidiaries and affiliates for 9 months of 2017 increased 2.29 times to RUB 16.82 billion from RUB 7.331 billion for the same period in 2016. Revenue increased by 6.04% to RUB 135.345 billion from RUB 127.63 billion, profit from operations 2.54 times to RUB 19.478 billion from RUB 7.662 billion, pre-tax profit by 90.96% to RUB 19.921 billion from RUB 10.432 billion. EBITDA increased by 62.7% to RUB 30.716 billion from RUB 18.874 billion.
According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of Mosenergo for 2017 increased 2.29 times to RUB 25.282 billion from RUB 11.062 billion the year before. Revenue increased by 3.41% to RUB 196.825 billion from RUB 190.342 billion, sales profit by 36.05% to RUB 33.634 billion from RUB 24.722 billion, pre-tax profit by 65.94% to RUB 31.035 billion from RUB 18.703 billion. EBITDA increased by 31.6% to RUB 44.093 billion from RUB 33.513 billion.
