The generator rotor of hydroelectric unit no. 3 is mounted at its proper position at the Ust-Srednekanskaya hydroelectric power plant which PJSC RusHydro is currently building on the Kolyma River in Magadan region. This means that the hydroelectric unit installation is near completion, the press service RusHydro informed.
The generator rotor 11.8 meters in diameter is the heaviest rotating part of the hydroelectric unit. Its weight is 582 tonnes. The relocation and positioning of such a large component demands simultaneous synchronous operation of two cranes installed in the main generator hall of the HPP.
Construction of the Ust-Srednekanskaya hydroelectric power plant on the Kolyma River is one of the largest investment projects for RusHydro. The first two hydroelectric units with a total capacity of 168 MW were put into operation in 2013; after the launch of hydroelectric unit no. 3, the HPP capacity will reach 310.5 MW. Commissioning of hydroelectric unit no. 3 of the Ust-Srednekanskaya HPP is scheduled for Q4 of 2018.

IFRS net profit of RusHydro Group for 2017 decreased by 43.52% to RUB 22.451 billion from RUB 39.751 billion the year before. Revenue (adjusted for state subsidies) decreased by 2.67% to RUB 380.864 billion from RUB 391.322 billion, profit from operations grew by 0.53% to RUB 47.792 billion from RUB 47.539 billion, pre-tax profit decreased by 35.56% to RUB 35.519 billion from RUB 55.123 billion. EBITDA increased by 3.7% to RUB 104.038 billion from RUB 100.341 billion.
IFRS net profit of RusHydro Group for Q1 2018 grew by 22.04% to RUB 22.951 billion from RUB 18.806 billion for the same period in 2017. Revenue increased by 6.52% to RUB 110.097 billion from RUB 103.359 billion.
According to AK&M Information Agency's DataCapital information retrieval system, RAS net profit of PJSC RusHydro for 2017 decreased by 13.68% to RUB 36.149 billion from RUB 41.877 billion the year before. Revenue increased by 25.79% to RUB 144.697 billion from RUB 115.033 billion, sales profit by 3.77% to RUB 60.89 billion from RUB 58.677 billion, pre-tax profit decreased by 9.65% to RUB 49.478 billion from RUB 54.761 billion. EBITDA increased by 5% to RUB 77.571 billion from RUB 73.89 billion.
